Top 20 Hottest Québécois (part 1: 20-10)

I was watching the premiere "Occupation Double" yesterday night and realized how good-looking us, Quebec men are. I'm not saying that to imply that I'm extraordinarily good-looking but mainly to reinforce our national pride ;-)! I think the guys from "Occupation Double" (I like to call it Pénétration Double (double penetration)) are all quite sexy but the thing is they're all stupid and meaningless. I'm not interested by men like that and given the fact that they're all straight, I'm even less into them. That's why none of the guys from "Pénétration Double" are listed below. The men that I put on my "Top 20" are listed on more profound categories such as personality, career, charisma, sense of humour, looks, sex appeal and tightness of the pâté. I included some of my fellow Quebec gays on the list because, well hell I gotta make a tribute to them; they're my counterparts for Christ's sake! Hope you enjoy!
20. Pierre Fitch
Listed as last, Mr. Fitch is a gay porn star from Montreal. He is quite famous among the gay community, not just in Montreal but also around the world lol!

Portrait of an Overly-Tattooed Male Model : Rick Genest

I made a very intriguing discovery as I documented myself about Lady Gaga's music video for "Born This Way" and that involves the Zombie-looking guy around which Gaga dances and blows bubble gum. As you probably already know, I'm a big fan of Zombie movies so the minute I saw the incredibly-tattooed Rick Genest, I made a mental note to myself to go check info about him later. As I forgot, my mom was there to remind me as she handed me "La Presse" one saturday morning and said: "oh it's incredible how Lady Gaga made this guy so big and famous while the only thing going on about him is his body being completely tattooed"! That's when I logged onto the net and found some info.

Seems like "Zombie Boy" AKA Rick Genest was born in 1985 in my hometown, Montréal, Québec and was discovered a year ago when Lady Gaga's Fashion director Nicola Formichetti eavesdropped about a fan page of his on Facebook. Genest went on to model for Thierry Mugler and was featured in GQ Style UK and Vogues Hommes Japan. More recently, he was featured in Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" video where Gaga wears makeup that replicates Genest's tattoos. Interestingly enough, he's one of them people whom I admire for getting inked...! Although I just wrote that, I want to reassure you that I WON'T get my whole body tattoed like him!

Future Ink

2011 has had a rough start for me and I'm glad I made it through its first four months.

Funny enough, I've always been one of those people to critize tattooed folks and say that it's a tacky and goofy form of Art for the young and the restless. Believe it or not, "The Big Dog" changed his mind and now wishes to eventually get inked. Since inked tattoos are permanent, one might want to consider different possibilities and areas to possibly be immortalized.

As I don't want to have a tattoo on an impulse and would like to think about it first, I'm currently trying to figure out what kind of tattoo I would like to have. I know what I don't want, which is off to a good start! There's no way I'm getting guns, dead skulls, flowers, butterflies, rainbows, gay stuff, dolphins, tribal shit, chinese letters or even worse, the name of a past or actual boyfriend! Even though I have none as of now, I do believe there's nothing worse than a pierced heart with an arrow and a banner showcasing the name of a boyfriend. Whereas in the 21th century, people get separated and divorced multiple times during their lives, it would very irrelevant and silly to have that inked on you!

Back when I was 11 years old, I went to famed Montreal attraction park "LaRonde" for a day out with my babysitter (lol). That day, there were attraction kiosks where you could buy teddy bears, candies and get fake henna tattoos. Being über-childish, I instantly went for the temporary tattoo kiosk and took a look at their books or tattoos on display. I found one with initals and names and found the initial category very interesting. As I can remember, I had my initials tattooed in the crook of my arm. The initials' caligraphy was quite lovely and looked Middle Age-ish and stuff and I liked it a lot. I do have to say that I remembered this tattoo up to this day and I think that if I ever decide to truly undergo tattooing some place on my body, I may consider my initials as potential.

I believe that tattoos should be done after someone's lived something rough and feels like getting a physical commemorative acquisition on his body. After having my best friend undergo depression, getting bad grades at school, arguing with other close friends and living with all kinds of weird emotions, I felt like winter 2011 was a test for me and that I still have some important things to learn from my mistakes and from life's outcomes. I'm also slowly realizing that adulthood is taking its toll on me and that I need to get serious, settle down and be thankful toward my family and God for what he gave me. I don't intend to end my post with a religious appraisal (lol!), but I firmly think that some people are living with eyes wide shut (like Stanley Kubrick's movie) and need to get a dose of reality since we only have one life to live and one heart to give...!

Therefore, I will continue to think about whether or not I want to have a tattoo but I think I might stick to my idea and if that is the case, I'll probably get it done before leaving for Europe at the end of June. I guess a small tattoo with my initals shouldn't too much of a tiring body decoration and shall make my "pâté" even more unique (lol). To me, initals truly mean something as they genuinley represent yourself but in a subtle way (it doesn't showcase your whole name), and as relevant as it may seem, you should normaly keep the same name your whole life, that is unless you want to change your last name for your husband's or hate your name so much that you'd like to get it legally changed. I also like the fact that having your initials tattooed on you makes you look like a badass gangster. Tattoos can also be fashionable; models like Ana Beatriz Barros, Noah Mills, Gisele Bündchen, Freja Beha Erichsen and designer Marc Jacobs all have tattoos.

Otherwise, I think initials are there to last, especially in my case. I do like my initals: P.R. It also makes me think of public relations, press release, permanent revolution, permanent residency, peer review, Power Rangers (lol), "Precisely Right", Puerto Rico, Portuguese Republic, positive-real, peripheral resistance, photo refractive, "Project Reality", perpendicular recording, performance rating, pay roll (!) and finally, proportional representation!!!

I guess after reading the above-mentioned terms and names which P.R. can stand for, you might agree with me that not only does it stand for my whole name, it is also a very cool and hype abbreviation! That being said, I still have no clue regarding where I'd like my tattoo to be done; I don't want it at a place where fat might likely get stocked or where skin stretches most often or at a too visible place. Furthermore, I'm trying to decide which place would be better between: the ankle, the shoulder blades, the hips, lower back, the wrist, the arm or the buttocks. Can someone help me?!

African-American Albino Model

I've made such an intriguing Fashion discovery last week as I took a sneak peek at Katy Perry's new music video "E.T.". Indeed, there's a cute guy in the vid that acts as her lover of some shiz and he's quite cute. At first I thought he was a black guy who'd been digitally bleached with Photoshop in order to provide him with a futuristic McQueenesque look. I decided to go check infos about the aforementioned video on Wikipedia to try to find out mysterious guy's identity.

That's when I got to learn that his name is Shaun Ross and he is in fact a real albino with African-American ancestry. Born and raised in the Bronx, Ross is 20 years old and started his Fashion career in a very colorful way; he featured himself in Youtube videos where he argued with his mom and talked about Fashion and obnoxious nonsense. He was then discovered at the tender and incredibly young age of 16 and took a step into the Fashion scene.

Blessed with very pretty features and a killer body, Ross stands out and has worked his way into Fashion and is now credited as being the world's only albino male model. Ross has graced the cover of numerous Fashion magazines including i-D Magazine, Vogue, British GQ, Another Man Magazine and Paper Magazine. He has also modeled for Givenchy and Alexander McQueen and among other powerful couture houses. Back in 2009, Shaun made an appearance on the now-defunct Tyra Banks Show where he talked about his sad childhood growing up as an albino in the Bronx solely surrounded by Black or Latino people. He said he was constantly being taunted and teased and had been attributed nicknames such as "Casper", "Powder" and "Wite Out". He then recalled an event that took place at his High School where he was stabbed in the back by one of his bullies while on detention.

Even though his story is gloomy, it's a merry thing to know that he's managed to get the fuck outta tha Bronx, rock Fashion runways, pose for notorious Fashion photographers, travel the world and meet Tyra! U rock girl!
Michael Jackson would totally agree...!

--> Some sources that I have found claim that Mr. Ross was in town last summer to host a Mad Maus party, how cool? He said he finds that Montreal could be apparented to Berlin, Germany and that Berlin is his favourite city. Shown below is a video of Shaun Ross strolling around NYC:

Dolce und Gabbana's Spring 2011 Ad

I just saw these images on http://www.models.com/ and loved them instantly! I really like the concept that Dolce und Gabbana's creative team (which includes Dennis Freedman and Tabitha Simmons) has picked for their latest campaign. It looks very Morocco 1950. Makes me think of the movie "Casablanca" lol! Even though I'm usually in awe when I see some skin from all the sexy boys'N girls who model in these ads, I can appreciate the fact that they didn't show too much this season. I believe it is classier this way and looks less tacky. I'm guessing Dolce & Gabbana's had enough controversy in the past; it seeks to just expand its brand and keep long-term satisfaction from its faithful customers around the world without risking their reputation and notoriety. Featured in the ad are Brazilian sensations Izabel Goulart and Alessandra Ambrosio. The two hottest dudes are David Gandy and Noah Mills (the steamy Italian hunk that fucked with Samantha in Sex & the City 2). Photographer Steven Klein did a marvelous job on this one! Enjoy the sassy yet savvy pictures!
